about this fag

I use a Mac. I am gay. And I blog.  Thoughts will come alive in this one-of-a-kind blog as I escape the world of reality and settle behind a Macintosh.

About This Fag

I’m a 20-something gay living in Pittsburgh.  I attended a four-year institution and am now employed putting my piles of student loan debt to work.

As far as sexuality goes, I’m gay.  I’m not “out and proud,” but this guy’s also not locked in the closet (the door is slightly open!).  A good amount of friends are in the know — for the ones that aren’t, well, they’ll find out someday. Someday.

I’m not one to wear my sexuality as a badge.  With what has become the American stereotype of gay life, I have remained distant from that image.  It’s uncomfortable for me to be part of that “typical” gay lifestyle.  They often say, “I’m just being me.”  And that’s exactly what I am — me.

I’m a gay guy that says “dude,” eats pizza and beer, roots for the Steelers, hates shopping, enjoys Apple (not sure if that’s obvious yet).

I’m still looking to figure out how my individuality can adapt to my homosexuality.

Stay tuned.
